THE WORK WE DO
The functional aim of the NTRAĀ Charitable Trust is to deliver Rongoā Services to the community, those in need and be able to work quickly with organisations, social services and community groups who are providing or in need of Rongoā Māori healing support.
The Trust stands to advocate for culturally attuned and appropriate care, representing a breadth of hauora options to alleviate distress and maintain wellbeing, in conjunction with the development and protection of Rongoā Māori. We as a Trust continue to develop standards of excellence in response to community need outreach.
The Trust has been formed in support of everlasting accessibility to Rongoā Māori, encompassing both preventative an postventative care taught and provided through appropriate Tikanga and customs. We celebrate and respect diversity and acknowledge that Rongoā and mātauranga are held and regarded as taonga at all times.
