RomiromiResponding to tension, stored in the layers that form together, building our Tīnana, the Traditional Māori techniques, tīkanga and practices of Romiromi work through pressure points to target and relieve deeply held stresses and strains in systems of anatomy structure. Using carefully placed pressure application, areas of adhesion within the physiology of the body can be worked upon to soothe and restore vitality and bloodflow, supporting the whole self to wellness, resulting in a sense of vigour following release. Romiromi sessions work deeply but carefully, uniquely tailored to the needs and physiology of the individual. The practice of Romiromi is able to stimulate healing and recalibration in a very impactful way, opening perceived blockages and thresholds that promote freedom once again within the mind, body and wairua.

Full Reset RomiromiOur physical bodies retain information just as our mind does. A Full Reset Romiromi uses Traditional Māori practices that target information centerpoints and energy channels (pressure points) around the body to release stored trauma, tension and debilitating pains. This session is a deep and physical reset through the Tīnana (Physical Body) to explore emotional and wairua landscapes, adjusting, releasing tension and addressing holding patterns within the body and mind.

RelaxationSometimes it is necessary to acknowledge and bring illumination to the woven stories of our tūpuna and the memories held further back in our whakapapa and family line. In supporting your Tīnana with the specialist hands of our Kairomiromi, we can bridge elements of your emotional, mental, physical and wairua landscapes to honour your depth of feeling and allow the expression of intergenerational experiences to be transmuted, bringing ease to daily life when needed. This service’s purpose is to help your tinana recuperate and rejuvenate itself and aid in its recovery. Traditional techniques and guided movements will be used to bring relaxation in addition to guided stretches and breath exercises.
